Introducing the Wayman Center

Here at the Wayman Center, we dedicate our lives to creating opportunities for every child we have the honor to welcome in our facilities. Brought to life in 2004, the Wayman Center is the brainchild of ABA programs consultant Gail Wayman and her husband, John Wayman. 

Because of their experiences in public schools and while offering guidance for home-based ABA programs, John and Gail Wayman wanted to create a space for children with special needs. The Wayman center is the result of the effort of designing an environment where each child can follow a tailored journey to unlock more opportunities and happiness in their lives through research based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Our Commitment

At the Wayman Center, we believe that each child is unique, has unique strengths and abilities. Above all, we believe in each child’s great potential to leave a successful, fulfilled life. That is why we have handpicked and trained professional staff to meet the needs of each child. Through Applied Behavior Analysis best practices, we strive to create tailored programs that can help each of our guests see the greatest progress. 

Our staff are fully trained in the latest innovations and developments in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis therapy. Each of us are committed to getting to know each child, their personalities, and their abilities, strengths, and preferences, as well as their greatest challenges. We are here to help them work through such challenges, working towards boosting their development.

Your Experience with Us

Your experience here is designed to fit both the child’s needs and their families’ preferences. That is why you will find that each child is always followed by one trained adult at all times. Additionally, our programs are revised and adjusted depending on the progress we see. 

You will also find that our services are hourly, or fee based. You won’t need to commit to a subscription or tuition-based group program. This system allows for the greatest benefits. Indeed, your child will always receive the help needed whenever it is needed the most. Additionally, this allows for the greatest flexibility for the children and their families alike. 

Our Facilities

At the Wayman Center, we truly believe that our environment can greatly influence how we feel, behave, and interact with others. That is why we have been investing in state-of-the-art facilities that are best suited for education and development. We believe that our buildings and grounds can become a place of great stimulation, happiness, and development. 

Our facilities are easily accessible from the whole Dallas/Fort Worth area and located in a residential area. Here every child has the chance to enjoy a vast outdoor area as well as extensive indoor facilities. Within our grounds, we offer a huge variety of activities and materials for children to have fun with while stimulating their bodies and minds. 

When visiting us at our facilities, you will notice that we have purposely carved a space in a residential area where the children can enjoy a cozy, welcoming, and homey atmosphere. 

Your Involvement Matters

Our focus is on the development of each child to ensure they have all pathways open and accessible in life. We provide customized ad hoc programs that aim to be suitable for each child’s needs. However, we also value your involvement. We strive to be parent-friendly, and we offer the chance of strengthening your bond with your children. 

We provide and encourage families that are family-friendly, and we adopt an open-door mentality throughout our programs. This is because we believe that each child’s family will play a crucial role in their development and progress. When you and your family become part of Wayman, we treat you as partners, working towards the same goal. That is why we are always available to offer guidance and help throughout this stage of your child’s life.
